International Price of Crude Oil - Indian Basket Slightly increase on 02.4.2012 to US$ 121.67/BBL | |||||||||||||||
The international crude oil prices for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has slightly higher on 02.4.2012 to rule at US$ 121.67 per barrel (bbl). The price previously computed/ published on 02.04.2012 based on trading figures of 30.03.2012, was US$ 121.50 per bbl. In rupee terms also, the crude oil price was marginally higher at Rs 6224.64 on 02.4.2012 against Rs 6215.94 per bbl on 30.03.2012, due to crude oil prices increase in dollar terms. The rupee/dollar exchange rate was unchanged at Rs 51.16 /US$ on 02.04.2012 which is same as prevalent on 30.03.2012. The table below gives details in this regard:
