The scheme ‘Computerization of records of the State Waqf Boards (SWBs)’ with central financial assistance is applicable to all the 30 State Waqf Boards in the country. Under the scheme, funds are to be released to the SWBs for setting up of Centralized Computing Facility (CCF) and thereafter for hand holding charges for the next three years. Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Shri Vincent H. Pala, Minister of State for Minority Affairs, said that allocation for the Twelfth Five Year Plan period has not been finalized yet. However, the allocation in the budget for 2012-13 for the Scheme is Rs. 5 crore.
